Costa Blanca & Valencia
Climbs, Caves & Coast
November 6–12, 2026
We’re sharing a multi-sport adventure week with 6-10 friends including cycling, hiking, yoga, and kayaking along Costa Blanca this fall! We’ll pair our outdoor adventure week with city culture fun in Valencia before and after, and arrange your bike rental for the week.
Xábia! Our home base.
We’ll stay in an airy villa at the foot of the 2,500-foot Montgó Massif, with a pool and plenty of space to relax after big days on the bike. From there, we’ll be close to Xàbia’s old town, beaches, hikes, caves, and quiet corners of the coast to explore between rides.
Epic rides!
On the bike, we’ll have an exciting week of short and long routes through some of Costa Blanca’s best cycling terrain, including Coll de Rates, Puerto de Tudons, Cumbre del Sol, and more. Early November should bring ideal shoulder-season riding: cooler mornings, comfortable afternoons, quieter roads, and dramatic coastal and mountain light. Each day, shorter options will range from 30–60 miles with 2,000–6,000 feet of climbing, while longer options will stretch from 50–105 miles with 3,000–8,000 feet of climbing.
Off the bike fun.
We’ll balance our cycling adventures with a mix of hikes, beaches, yoga, towns, and time on the water. We’ll explore local gems like Calpe, Peñón de Ifach, Dénia, Cova Tallada, and Cala Granadella, with options for kayaking, swimming, wandering historic streets, and relaxing by the sea. The goal is to enjoy the coast from every angle, not just from the bike.
Eat & drink
Over the week, we’ll enjoy a lively mix of Mediterranean and coastal cooking around Dénia, Xàbia, and Calpe. We’ll try creative local food at Volta i Volta, polished rice and seafood dishes at Komfort, playful fusion at DEXCARO, and a fun, modern night out at Palito by Temblor. Expect fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, bright salads, coques, rice dishes, and relaxed dinners with real local character.
Valencia, Spain’s third city.
Round out the trip with a mix of city, culture, and coast. Bike or wander through the lush Turia Gardens, explore contemporary art, architecture, markets, and historic neighborhoods, and enjoy the city’s lively food and music scene in the evenings. Take time for the beach and marina, or head just outside the city to Albufera for rice fields, lagoon views, and a beautiful sunset boat ride.
A week of adventure!

Your Guide. Hugh.
I’ve been cycling throughout my life, although it took decades to realize that it was way more fun to do with other people. One of the few things I’ve won in this short life was a cooking competition. I love planning adventures and learning more about all the humans I am lucky enough to hang out with.
