Marito&Moglie - Don’t miss their orange espresso tonic. Lovely, stylish courtyard.

Muss Café - Delicious coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon.

Onno — Pastries to die for. Easy to miss. 

Pan con Madre — On the other side of town. Great spot for a pastry and coffee before riding.

Origen - Inventive plates with local ingredients. Reservations recommended.

Levadura de Olla - Oaxaca’s first Michelin star. Reservations recommended.

Los Danzantes - A longtime classic. Reservations necessary.

Taviche — Solid lunch option with fresh, local ingredients.

Bars

Selva — Oaxaca’s most stylish bar. Reserve a table, or arrive early.

Los Amantes — The full mezcal experience.

La Cueva — Close to the house with great music and neighborhood vibe.

Shopping

Aripo - Handicrafts from across the state at affordable prices. You can buy clothes, ceramics, Alebrijes (whimsical wooden carved creatures), glass, mezcal and furnishings.

LIA - Well curated shop. All the best of Oaxacan design and crafts.
