Provence | Ça régale !
May 31–June7, 2026
We’re sharing a Provence adventure with a small group (6-10) in July. We’ll be staying in the old town of Saint-Jeannet at the foot of a limestone cliff with mountain roads in reach, and hiking out the back door.
Sunday
We’ll arrive with a 25min shuttle from the Nice Airport to our Airbnb in the old town of Saint-Jeannet at the base of a limestone cliff. Take time to get settled, take a dip in the pool and explore the town by foot before we walk to dinner at L’ardoise d’ana.
Monday
Our first day to explore! To the Vallée de l’Estéron for it’s rugged limestone cliffs, urquoise pools, and quiet mountain roads. With an optional added climb up the scenic Gréolières les Neiges. Lunch at Le Bistrot de Sophie. In the evening we’ll take a short 15min drive to Vence to explore another beautiful medieval town with dinner at Mediterranean standout Neosud.
Tuesday
To the coast! All routes (short, medium & long) drop down to the coast to roll through Antibes and Cannes. Healthy bowls and toasts at the Bungalow Cafe. The long route rounds the red volcanic rock of the Pic du Cap Roux. Hearty dinner at the pizzeria le Vieux Four just a short walk from our Airbnb.
Wednesday
A proper day in the mountains! We’ll have cycling options as well as a day of the bike. Cyclists can cross La Var for the first time and ride around the Cime de Roccassiera, or choose a lighter day to Roquestron stopping for lunch at Le Passeron. For a day off the bike, hike from town up to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Visit the Matisse & Chagall museums and enjoy an evening in the old town of Nice with dinner at Chez Acchiardo.
Thursday
To the Col de la Couillole for a challenging HC climb frequently featured in Paris-Nice and the Tour de France. Or a lighter day to the Col de la Madone used by the pros in their training. We’ll walk to dinner at La Table des Baous in Saint-Jeannet.
Friday
Chef’s Choice: along the coast through Eze to Italy, or the iconic Col de Turini! An evening trip to the cliff-perched village of Tourettes-Sur-Loup and dinner at Spelt.
Saturday
Our victory lap to the 8th century town of Gourdon. Lunch at La Crêpe Gourmande. And a last evening to explore Libération, the foodie neighborhood of Nice in the evening.
Let’s go!
